A screenshot of a chat thread is a picture of text: it wastes most of the sheet, cannot be searched, and reads badly once printed. If what you have is the conversation as text — an export file, a copy-paste, a set of notes — then typesetting it is both smaller and far more readable.
The output is ordinary pages: a real margin, a consistent line height, page numbers, and a heading naming what the document is. Page size and margins are in millimetres, so it prints the way it previews.
Frequently asked questions
What text formats can I use?
Anything you can copy as plain text: a chat export, a notes export, a transcript. Line breaks and timestamps in the source are preserved, because in a record they are the content.
How many lines fit on a page?
It depends on the font size and the paper. The preview states the page count as you change them, so the answer is visible rather than guessed — which matters when you are about to print forty pages.
Is this suitable as evidence?
It produces a legible, page-numbered document, which is what most filing and dispute processes ask for. Whether it is admissible depends on the rules of the body you are dealing with, and in many cases they will want the original export retained as well. Keep both.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. The text is laid out in your browser and never transmitted. For a document being prepared as evidence, the difference between local and server-side processing is the difference between a private record and a copy on someone else’s disk.
