    Are my images uploaded to a server?

    No. The conversion runs entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly. Your file is read from disk, decoded, re-encoded and handed back to you as a download — it never travels over the network. You can verify this by opening your browser devtools and watching the network tab while converting.

    Is there a file size or usage limit?

    No artificial limits. The only constraint is your own device memory: very large images (above roughly 50 MB) may be slow on older phones. There is no daily quota, no watermark and no paywall.

    Do I need an account?

    No. Every converter works without signing in. An account only exists if you want one, and it stores nothing but your email address.

    Which formats can I convert between?

    PNG, JPG and WebP in any direction. Use WebP for websites because it is much smaller at similar quality, JPG for photos and anywhere you need universal compatibility, and PNG when you need lossless quality or transparency.

    Why does my transparency disappear sometimes?

    JPG does not support transparency. If you convert a PNG with a transparent background to JPG, those transparent areas become white. Convert to WebP or keep PNG if you need to preserve transparency.

    Does converting lose quality?

    Converting to PNG or WebP from PNG is lossless. Converting to JPG or WebP is lossy and re-encodes the image, so quality drops slightly — raising the quality slider reduces the loss at the cost of a larger file.
